3 Reasons why you should keep good(right) friends

You ever needed a helping hand, You ever needed someone to share ideas, problems, decisions with?
You ever needed someone to remind you of who you are when it seems like you are drifting?

You ever needed someone that can comfort in words and action when needed?
The decision to make friends nowadays becomes even tougher because the whole value and essence of friendship bit by bit are forgotten. People are willing to let simple things get in the way of good friendships, willing to let go good friendship for selfish reasons. While others seem not to have a problem with walking alone until someday they realise they are even more isolated than they thought.

Never forget that you need good friends

At every point in your life never forget that you need to keep and always value good friendships. Too many times people mistreat, take for granted true friendships and realise it when it’s all lost. Having good friends don’t have to be having millions of contacts but having very few people that have your best interest at heart and sometimes these people could be just three or two.

You might want to ask yourself why keeping the right/good friends is important and these three reasons I guess will give you more hope on that.

1. We are humans and individually want what is true.
Naturally, as humans we find ourselves around thousands of people we interact with, work with and live with but most importantly we wouldn’t just want to be surrounded by every person that we see and meet but rather we would love to have around those that we can say and believe have our best interest both mentally, physically and spiritually in mind.
2. Good friends are few amongst many.
The issue most times is not in meeting friends but rather meeting the ones that are right. In as much as it is essential to also be careful when it comes to choosing friends because truly not everyone called friends are friends but trust me in a lifetime you will definitely meet that one person, even few more persons that will be there with a sincere heart towards you, and this are the ones you should never take their friendship for granted knowing that amongst many there are just a few of this kind of friends.
3. They have some part in our mental, physical and spiritual progress in life.
It is good to rely on one’s self for growth but as the saying goes “two heads are better than one”. So most times too, our progress in life also relies on the friends we surround ourselves with. A friend that is able to speak to you in truth, able to remind you of your standards in case you get carried away, willing to say the truth even though it hurts just to see you on the right path, a friend that is supportive, willing to see you are in a stable mental state and most importantly a believer friend that can handle things not based on the way the world sees it but rather by the word of God, he sees the true light in the word of God and believe that should be the standard of living, a friend as this is definitely worth keeping and should never be taken for granted.
3 Amazing quotes about good friendships:

i. Good Friends are God’s way of taking care of us.

ii. Hold a true friend with both your hands.

iii. One of the true qualities of friendship is to understand and to be understood.
